No great endeavor can be achieved alone. Behind AdventureX lies nearly a hundred young individuals dedicating a whole year of their youth. We live in an era of overload where everyone rushes to become the next billionaire. Yet in such times, there is more than one person willingly investing over ten hours weekly into a project with zero financial returns. We take heartfelt pride in every team member.
AdventureX is crafted by humans, where every detail embodies our devotion. We designed our own fonts, rendered main visuals from scratch, hand-drew illustrations, coded management systems line by line, wrote articles during midnight hours with illusion, and assembled every event table ourselves. We laughed, cried, nearly gave up, but ultimately persevered.
The venue for the event was super far from my home - roundtrip rides cost over 100 RMB. When my allowance ran out and Mom refused to give more, I downloaded every ride-hailing app to use 'pay-later' features, barely scraping through.Ryan ZhuI arrived in Hangzhou early in the month, planning to stay until the event. But it rained nonstop and my clothes soaked the moment I landed. Feeling it was pointless, I flew back to Beijing the next day. Later, as the event neared, I rushed back two days prior, thinking I'd avoided the rainy season... only to face sweltering heat during AdventureX 😝MarvinWe felt like players in a massive online puzzle game, each holding a few pieces but never seeing the full picture. When reaching out to guests, we'd repeatedly explain what AdventureX was—until someone suddenly exclaimed, 'I know you guys!' In those moments, you realize AdventureX's 'miracle' wasn't built by one person, but by a universe pieced together across time zones and screens ✨.Ruby
I remember when we first placed that AdventureX wooden letter sign. Ryan suggested positioning it in front of the monument at the main entrance, but right after setting it up, a heavy downpour ruined the wood completely. We had to reorder the entire set.KaynaRyan's endless whims meant I spent two consecutive Chinese New Year's Eves working overtime—waking up to his messages in the morning and drafting late into the night.Raisa
The only outsourced engineer looked at nearly 100 unassembled tables, seemingly equally despairing. Thus, the screws connecting the table legs to the surfaces were barely fastened, dangling and wobbling.
